But is the sky actually falling?

We’re in kind of a weird spot in the markets.

The charts are showing (in my opinion) obvious signs of a big, bullish run. Plus November is historically a very bullish month.

Yet the headlines, and the sentiment I see from the normies on 𝕏/Twitter, is that the bubble is about to burst and the “sky is about to fall.” 

Okay, Chicken Little.

What does all this mean?

Lots of people are trying to call the top, even to the point that we’re seeing bears shorting the markets waiting for this “inevitable” drop.

Personally, I think they’re dead wrong and we’re about to see an irrational bullish run higher into the end of the year. 

Either way, my trading system keeps chugging along in the profits.

Why it matters …

This is a busy week! The President is in Asia working with several countries on trade and trying to ink a deal with China for rare earth minerals while selling soybeans. The FOMC meets this week to (probably) lower interest rates on Wednesday. This is the early peak of the earnings season.

There are a lot of things to go wrong as always, but if the major events and earnings are positive which seems likely, it could be a very green week. Should be fun to watch!

Comments: We are starting with a forest green day on the indexes. The Treasury Secretary said the advanced talks with China have gone well which bodes well for everyone with the possible exception of domestic miners of rare earth metals.

There are a ton of companies reporting earnings this week.  Keep an eye out for earnings landmines when you sell puts today.
