Shifting gears from the slow lane to the fast lane

I’ve been thinking lately about the “slow-lane” to riches.

Not a bad path to take, especially for people who work hard, save their money, and just want their retirement to move without doing work along the way.

i.e., investing in mutual funds.

This is the preferred retirement growth method of many personal financial gurus. Again, fine ... if you’re okay with the slow, ~11% annual growth rate (obviously that rate fluctuates, but this is around the right level).

But since you’re reading this, you and I both have faster ambitions.

We want to be driving on the fast-lane.

(to be clear, not “get-rich-quick”, but faster than 30+ years)

That’s why I have the trading system I use. It’s designed to take me from starting out to a millionaire in about five to seven years. Not quick, but fast.

Yes, there’s a difference.

Also, it does take work -- about two hours per week.

(The horror! 😱)

Ha ha.

Anyway, I like to remind myself from time to time why I’m choosing this driving lane instead of another one. Today, being a red day, is a good time to do that.

Strong earnings married to a pullback … irrational, but the market does that.

Comments: The market is pulling back today. If you kept some powder dry, there might be some really good opportunities to sell some puts. Looks like some great rolling opportunities as well. Red days help us with our patience!
