“The only person who never makes a mistake is someone who does nothing.”
Harsh truth from today’s quote.
The reality that this super genius is pointing out is that there’s no escaping making mistakes. I can either choose to try things, make mistakes, learn, and grow ... or ... make the mistake of doing nothing.
I’d argue that doing nothing is the bigger mistake.
When it comes to trading, I’ve never seen a perfect setup.
There’s always been something I could point to that makes me think, “oh, well, here’s a reason this might not work.” In other words...
The perfect trade doesn’t exist.
So, if I’m looking for risk-free trading, I’m going to be utterly disappointed.
But if I’m looking for smart ways to invest my capital so that I can get a bigger return? Opportunities are everywhere.
All I need to do is look for good setups, follow my plan, make a trade, and be patient.
Simple.

Why it matters …
This article doubles down on yesterday’s article about revisions to the jobs report. I suspect the revision will be significant and very negative. This will probably push the Fed hard to make a rate cut, but points to serious flaws in the data collection process.

Comments: We have a mixed, very sideways start to stocks today. No doubt, anticipation of the jobs revision and tomorrow’s Price report.
